Demo Version

Demo version posted here has around 3-4 hours worth of content. The full game is going to be around 15-20 hours long (or possibly even longer if you decide to play less actively).

If you're running into performance issues with the web version on a laptop with a dedicated GPU, you may need to set your browser to High Performance in Windows Graphics settings.

For better performance in general, I recommend that you download the Windows version of the demo (on the bottom of this page, or on Steam).

If you like the game, please wishlist it on Steam!

Blades of grass

Coup de Grass is an incremental management game about turning a tiny grass field into a sprawling automated operation.

Cutting crew

Start by cutting grass by hand, selling it and spending cash on upgrades. Then hire workers to automate the job - Farmers will help you harvest grass, Porters will carry it, and Engineers will turn it into useful resources.

Construct new buildings and gain access to more upgrades, new mechanics and mini-games.

Focus on passively managing your production lines, or keep a hands-on approach - it's your choice!

Pack your things and go

When it's time to move out, cash in your progress and earn Rare Seeds. Spend them to expand your truck and purchase Cargo items offering special effects and bonuses.

Put up a Roadside Stand to earn extra icome, harness the power of wind using Cyclone Scythe, or plug in a Standby Generator to supply you with more energy.

WARNING: Truck space is limited, so carefully plan what you want to pack. Pick a cargo combination that fits your playstyle.

New fields, new opportunities

Each field you move into has unique theme and objectives. Discover mysterious power lurking below the gloomy Overgrown Field, restore the Sacred Grove in a warm Autumn Field, and more!

Complete extra assignments to get Field Relics that will let you take a part of those fields with you on your next journey.

AI Disclosure

AI was used to help me with coding. I try to not overly rely on it and control the architecture myself, but I can't deny that it speeds up solo dev work tremendously.

No AI was used for any of the in-game assets. All 3D models, 2D graphics, music, sound effects and text are human-made. Most of them come from various online sources (both free and paid) and the in-game text is obviously written by me (and English is not my native language, so if you notice any mistakes, please let me know).

Every single third-party asset I've used is credited in game, even if there was no requirement to do so. I wouldn't be able to create this game without them so I thought it's only fair to do at least that much. In the full game, I expect to rely less on third-party asset, because I've started learning 3D modeling a few months ago, so I'm already using some low poly models of my own creation (still a long road ahead of me, but at least they look passable now).

Enjoying the work?
